About this course
This is a three-hour overview of the anatomy and function of the nervous system and spinal cord designed for Florida licensed massage therapists. The course will also discuss the effects of massage on the nervous system and how it can be used to treat conditions affecting the spinal cord and nervous tissue. This course is among the subjects covered for mandatory live classroom hours; however, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Florida Board of Massage Therapy is allowing Florida licensed massage therapists to obtain all of their continuing education hours online for the current renewal period.
