About this course
Most clinical situations you encounter will have established procedures that you should follow. However, you may also encounter situations that are not as clear cut. To help you decide on the best course of action to take, you will need to rely on moral and ethical principles to guide your actions. This course takes an in-depth look at the ethical principles that serve as the foundation of the practice of dentistry and the rest of the medical profession. This course is equivalent to one contact hour. It can be accessed through the convenience of a laptop, a computer, or a mobile device.

Instructors
Dr. Jonas Ashbaugh earned his dental degree from the Ohio State University, after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Southern Jacksonville Dental Society. Dr. Ashbaugh has also been awarded the Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ashbaugh takes numerous postgraduate education courses each year and has received extensive training in sedation, occlusion and esthetic dentistry, allowing him to incorporate these treatments into his practice so he has a multitude of methods for solving complex dental problems. Most recently, Dr. Ashbaugh has completed a nine month comprehensive dental implant program through the Las Vegas Implant Maxicourse.
