This course provides an overview of the concept of augmentative-alternative communication, including key terminology, misconceptions regarding AAC, potential users of AAC, and the various types of AAC systems available to help those who have difficulty communicating with traditional speech.

Instructors
Jaimini Patel, RPh is a Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Scientist with over 20 years of experience. Jaimini has a strong background in regulatory compliance and documentation. With her meditech expertise, she also possesses in-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding hazardous drugs and is well-versed in the NIOSH Alert on antineoplastic drug exposure. Additionally, she has extensive experience in renal/kidney disease medication and pharmacokinetic dosing.
